Screen-Shots and Program Functions
This is the offer window. It is started when the program loads.
Most of the things you do will be done from this window. Offers from other
people are placed in this window. Also, responses from @find requests will
be placed here. It will only list songs which you DO NOT HAVE, Songs which
you DO HAVE will be displayed in the play box at the top of the window.
The parts of this window are...
- Play Button
Will play the song listed to the right of it.
- Channel Name
Here is where you set the channels you are listening to or serving
to.
- List Viewer This pretty
blue eye will View other people's file lists when you click on it.
Right clicking on the eye will bring up your own list which is useful for
checking to see if you have a file someone is offering that may be named
differently.
- Search Type Toggle the search between your offer
window and
the channel.
- Search Button Will search the selected type for the text in
the box to the right.
- Entries Slider Allows you to set the maximum number of items
which will be shown in the offer window.
- Offer Window Clicking on entries in
this window will allow you to request files and information from other
users.
- Icon ToolBar The icons mean, from left to right...
- Shutdown MP3Tool Closes all windows and shuts the program
down.
- Configure MP3Tool Set up the
MP3Tool program.
- Mini Help Screen Describes what
all of the icons do in a quick easy to read format.
- Show Server Window Bring up the
Server window where all your serving related tools are.
This section is a definate must see!
- Slots Info Window Bring up the Slots
Information window showing user's que related information.
- Send To Channel Send text to the
channel.
- Recycle Window Allows you to
re-list the files you requested. Operations can be done on them to
re-request them or get information from other users.
- Activity Meter These two dots will blink when there is
activity between the MP3Tool program and the IRC Client. The left side is
output and the right side is input.
